शहीद सुरेंद्र सिंह मेहरा पुत्र हरक सिंह मेहरा ग्राम पंचायत धुमुड़गांव पोस्ट रस्यारागांव सोमेश्वर 90, बटालियन सीमा सुरक्षा बल में समराला लुधियाना में आंतरिक सुरक्षा ड्यूटी में तैनात थे। दिनांक 11 अगस्त 1991 को बेहलोलपुर झार साहिब रोड पंजाब में सरहिंद नहर पर बने पुल के ऊपर आतंकवादियों से मुठभेड़ में वह देश के लिए शहीद हो गए थे।
